Ryan has been teaching and learning golf for over 17 years. His love for the game started at age 4 when his father put a club in his hands. An all-around athlete, Ryan played hockey, golf, football, and baseball growing up.

He worked as an Assistant Golf Professional for 8 years in Colorado at two world class award winning courses. He then moved to Idaho and worked as the Head Professional at River Birch Golf Course, and then an Assistant Golf Professional at Crane Creek Country Club before becoming Director of Golf at Lakeview Golf Course. He has worked with all ages and skill levels and implemented several Golf Programs for Men, Women and Junior Golfers.

He believes that the mental and fitness game is very important to all players and administers this philosophy in his instruction. Ryan has spent many years playing professionally in PGA Pro-Am Tournaments. He supports many charity golf tournaments. He is a leading professional for the PGA Junior League and the development of youth golf programs.With 3 young daughters at home he has a passion for teaching junior golfers.

Ryan says he enjoys meeting hundreds of thousands of people through his golfing career. He believes that golf is a key component to life.

Pete Burton, PGA
Assistant Golf Professional

Pete was introduced to the game of golf at the age of 3 and was instantly hooked! He played multiple sports through high school which helped him to develop better overall motor and athletic development. Golf was always his passion and eventually he turned this passion into a professional career!

After 12 years as an educator, Pete decided to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a golf professional. Pete was elected PGA Membership in August 2021. He currently serves as the Site Director for Girls Golf-Boise, Rocky Mountain PGA Section. He is a PXG Brand Ambassador, a Henry Griffitts Certified Junior Club Fitter, an Operation36 Certified Pro, a PGA Junior League Coach, TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified, certified in the ADM (American Development Model) and PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance) trained.

In August of 2024, Pete took the next step in his continuing education and became a Specialized PGA Professional in Teaching and Coaching.  Pete looks forward to growing the game for golfer of all ages and all ability levels.

Pete believes there are numerous ways to swing a golf club and that it is important for a golfer to do what they are physically able to do. He loves to give his students options, help them to build a shot library and gain confidence on the course. Pete’s passion is teaching and you will notice this when you are working with him.

Pete offers both adult and junior lesson packages using the Operation36 curriculum. He can take you through a TPI functional movement screen to help you identify any physical barriers that keep you from playing your best golf. Furthermore, Pete can fit your junior golfer into a set of Henry Griffitts clubs that are the correct length, the correct weight and will grow with them throughout their childhood.
