The purpose of Operation 36 is to effectively teach beginners to play golf by providing a structured, motivating, and long-term development program that gets them playing on the course immediately and progressing towards shooting par (36) or better for nine holes. It flips the traditional model by starting players close to the hole (e.g., 25 yards) and gradually increasing the distance as skills improve, tracked via an app, to make learning fun, achievable, and less intimidating.
Lakeview offers a variety of group classes utilizing the Operation 36 curriculum. Click here to learn more about each program and to register for the class that best suits your needs.
PGA Hope
PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the charitable military program of the PGA of America REACH Foundation, offering free golf instruction to military veterans and active-duty service members to improve their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. Led by PGA professionals trained in adaptive golf and military culture, it uses a developmental curriculum to teach golf, helping veterans with disabilities (like TBI or PTSD) and other challenges reintegrate and find camaraderie through the sport, with programs available at no cost.
