As the summer days start to give way to the crisp air of September, we’re excited to bring you the latest updates and upcoming events from Lakeview Golf Course. The changing season offers a fantastic time to enjoy the course, with cooler temperatures and stunning autumn scenery.
Course Conditions and Maintenance
Our grounds crew continues to work diligently to keep the course in top condition. September’s cooler weather is providing a great opportunity for recovery, and we’re pleased to report that our fairways are showing improvement and seeing progress after some minor aeration.
The greens remain in excellent shape, thanks to our ongoing efforts. We’re also seeing progress with some updates to the irrigation systems.
Additionally, we are sodding the exit to number 1 by the cart path and adding new pansies on the patio.
September 10th was “Thank a Superintendent Day”! Join us in thanking our superintendent by leaving a thank you note in our golf shop this month.
We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to enhance the course for your enjoyment.

- Our junior clinics continue throughout the fall. It’s a great time to enroll your young golfer and help them develop their skills in a fun environment.

- We’re excited to continue our course improvements! Renovations to the bathrooms on the front 9 are set to begin soon. These updates are aimed at enhancing both the aesthetics and playability of the course.

- Mark your calendars for September 17th! It’s going to be a FULL MOON! Enjoy 40% off all APPAREL in the golf shop (excluding already discounted items) as our way of thanking you for your support.
- Dry-Ject
- On October 1st and 2nd, we’ll perform the Dry-Ject process on our greens. This process uses high-pressure water to create holes in the greens, fills them with sand, and ensures excellent conditions. It helps maintain the high quality of our greens.
