LAKEVIEW MEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION
Annual Membership Meeting

Dear Lakeview Men’s Association Members,

I want to welcome you to 2026 and the upcoming events we have planned for the new year.  I would like to thank all the members for making the 2025 a great year of golf.  We are even more excited about the upcoming year with tournaments, league play, Member-Guest and the Club Championship to name a few.

Annual Member Association Meeting:

We have set February 19th as the night of our Annual meeting.  The meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the restaurant and bar area at Lakeview Golf Course.  Everyone is welcome and the Board will be available to answer questions, hear your comments and discuss the upcoming season.

Spring League:

Due to the number of people wanting to play, we will be reaching out to members who have showed support of the Association and that played last year and have reserved their spot.  We are trying our best to accommodate every member that wishes to play Spring League.  Once we have contacted prior teams, and confirm if any spots will be open, then we will fill the open spots via a lottery of teams from a waiting list.  We will be taking names at the Annual Meeting for the waitlist.  An announcement will be made regarding this.  I highly encourage you to be listed on the “Sub” list as well.  There are numerous occasions throughout the 9 week season when this list is needed to fill a spot.

Please remember the Pro Shop does not have all the answers when it comes to the Men’s Association.  If you wish to play in Spring League please attend the meeting and get your name on the list.  Feel free to talk to Cameron Cryder or me with any questions at the meeting or contact us via email or phone.  Our contact information will be at the end of this email.  Below are the tentative details:

• Men’s Spring Leauge will start on April 9th
• Playoffs will take place June 11th and June 18th (top 4 teams in each flight will qualify for the playoffs) and payouts to the 4 teams making the playoffs.
• There will be a bonus payout to the 1st place finishers of the regular season in each flight.
• There will be tentatively 6 flights of 10 teams based on GHIN handicaps
• Players will need to be within 7 strokes of their partner
• 9 Hole Matches will go off with Shotgun starts at 5:00 pm start times
• Fees will be announced at the Annual Meeting and subsequent emails

Men’s Association Sign Up:

Please note that Idaho Golf Association has changed to an Auto Renew process for your GHIN and Membership.  PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF LAKEVIEW IS NOT GOING TO BE YOUR HOME ASSOCIATION, YOU WILL NEED TO WRITE A CHECK MADE PAYABLE TO LAKEVIEW MEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION AND LEAVE IT IN THE PRO SHOP AT LAKEVIEW.  You will be added to a manual Member List to ensure you qualify for participation in LMGA events.

This year’s Member Fee is $99.00 (includes IGA GHIN fee).  There will be more details given out at the Annual Meeting regarding the Membership and your GHIN number.

We will have the finalized event schedule for 2026 available along with other announcements.
