Happy New Year!

On behalf of our entire staff, I want to wish you and your family a happy, healthy, and successful New Year. As we turn the calendar to January, I’d like to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of the golf course and clubhouse.

Reflecting on the Year Behind Us
We are proud of what was accomplished over the past year and grateful for the golfers, guests, and community who make this facility such a special place. From strong participation to memorable events and steady improvements around the property, none of it happens without your support.

Winter Golf & Course Care
January golf can be some of the most enjoyable golf of the year with this weather, but it’s also the most important time for course protection. Please be mindful of frost delays, cart restrictions, and winter rules when posted. These measures allow our maintenance team to protect the turf so we can deliver excellent playing conditions when spring arrives.

In addition, sometime soon the City will be contracting work on the main pond. This project will include removing the soil berm at the back of the pond that was previously used for off-season water storage. The soil will remain onsite and be repurposed to create improved access to the rear of the pond for weed control and maintenance of the netting. The project will also include reshaping the rock edges to create a smoother, grassy transition to the water. These improvements will enhance maintenance efficiency and allow staff to more safely retrieve floating golf balls from the driving range.

Looking Ahead to the Season
While winter is a quieter time on the course, it’s a busy planning season behind the scenes. Our staff is already preparing for leagues, tournaments, junior programs, and special events for the year ahead. We’re excited about what’s coming and look forward to sharing more details as the season approaches.

Clubhouse & Golf Shop
Be sure to stop by the golf shop this winter. It’s a great time to take advantage of off-season sales, book lessons, or plan ahead for the upcoming season. The restaurant and bar remain a great gathering spot during the winter months, and we appreciate your continued support.

As always, thank you for being part of our golf community. If you have any questions, feedback, or ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We look forward to seeing you in 2026 and welcoming another great year at the course.

Warm regards,
Ryan Roberts, PGA
